Welcome to Smart Choice Monitoring (formerly known as Smart Start Michigan)! Although our name may be different, we still offer the same great services we did when we first started back in 2002. We offer 24/7 assistance from our judgement free call center, so rest assured, we’ll be there when you need us most. With helpful videos, friendly representatives, and over 20 years of experience in the industry, we provide resources that help steer you in the right direction and get you back on the road. Our representatives will walk you through installation, trouble shooting, or any other questions about our programs you may have. We were the first provider to customized BAIID Reports and to offer cameras and modems in our devices for the courts. We are a top primary service provider of ignition interlock devices in Michigan and Wisconsin. We were also the first provider to offer a truly portable alcohol monitoring device in the state of Michigan with our IN-HOM device in 2010.

Our main office is located in Harrison Township, Michigan. Smart Choice Monitoring utilizes over 45 different service locations throughout Michigan and Wisconsin to ensure client convenience.
